Ultram (Tramadol)

Ultram Information

Ultram is a pain reliever who functions on the same principles as a narcotic. It is used in the treatment of quite severe pains; either we’re talking of a long term treatment or an instant solution.

Ultram is an analgesic that can relieve moderate to moderately severe pain following surgery such as cesarean section, hysterectomy, hip replacement or other bone surgery, and dental surgery. This drug also helps relieve chronic pain associated with cancer, nerve pain, or low-back pain. Generic tramadol tablets are available.

Ultram Intake Guidelines

Each dose of Ultram should be taken with a glass of water. However you don’t have to take it with food. Please note that Ultram was designed as an oral drug. It should not be crushed and inhaled or injected. If done so it can easily cause an overdose which may be fatal. Extended-release tablets should be swallowed as a whole and not crushed or broken. That’s because they are specially designed to release the medicine in slow doses and not all of it in an instant.
